#300 Cocktail: Tiramisu Martini

For this one there is a simple description. It is adapted from a recipe by Alan Kearney and Salvatore Como of the Pen-Top Bar, in New York City
Even if it has the word "martini" in the name, which is one of my favorite cocktails, this one is a little too sweet for me. Not a bad cocktail, if you prefer the sweet ones that can get you tipsy without knowing
1 ounce Godiva white chocolate liqueur
1 ounce Stolichnaya Vanil
1 ounce Kahlua
1/2 ounce Disaronno liqueur
1/2 ounce cream

#284 Cocktail: Toasted Almond

I know it looks like the White Russian, but it is not. Probably someone (I have no idea who) created it for the ones who do not enjoy White Russian.
It's quite tasty, but it's a little too sweet for me. It happens when you combine only two liqueurs. Easy way to make it and if you don't like vodka, this one is for you.

 1 1/2 ounce Amaretto
1 1/2 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce cream

#281 Cocktail: White Russian

The traditional cocktail known as a Black Russian, which first appeared in 1949, becomes a White Russian with the addition of cream. Neither drink is Russian in origin, but both are so named due to vodka being the primary ingredient. It is unclear which drink preceded the other.
The Oxford English Dictionary refers to the first mention of the word "White Russian" in the sense of a cocktail as appearing in California's Oakland Tribune on November 21, 1965. It was placed in the newspaper as an insert: "White Russian. 1 oz. each Southern, vodka, cream", with "Southern" referring to Coffee Southern, a short-lived brand of coffee liqueur by Southern Comfort.
Though long regarded as a boring and unsophisticated drink, the White Russian saw a surge in popularity after the 1998 release of the film The Big Lebowski. Throughout the movie, it appears as the beverage of choice for the protagonist, Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski. On a number of occasions he refers to the drink as a "Caucasian".

#188 Cocktail: Mudslide

The cocktail is in the duos and trios category of cocktails, which means cocktails made with 2 or 3 different liqueurs with a spirit base.
Mudslide is a colloquial term for mudflow, the most rapid and fluid type of earth movement.
The original Mudslide was allegedly invented during the 1950s at the Wreck Bar on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. In its heyday—and in the bars of chain restaurants where this cocktail still appears—the frozen drink was often made with a mix that came in a plastic bottle.

#117 Cocktail: Esquivel

The drink is adapted from a recipe by Ted Haigh (Dr. Cocktail). The name of the drink comes from a band leader named Juan Garcia Esquivel.  He was one of the foremost exponents of a sophisticated style of largely instrumental music that combines elements of lounge music and jazzwith Latin flavors. Esquivel is sometimes called "The King of Space Age Pop" and "The Busby Berkeley of Cocktail Music."
The cocktail was created for Byron Werner, who rediscovered Esquivel after years of obscurity and allowed him several years of revitalized fame before his demise.
It was created to characterize Esquivel himself: sweet, spicy, tropical, tangy

2 ounces light rum
1/2 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce pineapple juice
orange bitters to taste
Angostura bitters to taste

#66 Cocktail: Brave Bull

Like the two cocktails ago, this cocktail is also included in the Duos and Trios category of cocktails, meaning that is composed from two ingredients.
This cocktail is a twist on the Black Russian, but instead of the vodka, here you are using tequilla. So if you enjoy the Black Russian, I can tell you for sure that you enjoy this cocktail too.
If you would like to add to the coffee-liqueur combination, a little bit of cream, you can make the Tequilla Dirty Bird cocktail
But right now we will stick to this one......

2 ounces tequilla
1 ounce coffee liqueur

#50 Cocktail: Black Russian

The Black Russian is a cocktail of vodka and coffee liqueur. It contains five parts vodka to two parts coffee liqueur, per IBA specified ingredients. Traditionally the drink is made by pouring the vodka over ice cubes or cracked ice in an old-fashioned glass, followed by the coffee liqueur.
This combination first appeared in 1949, and is ascribed to Gustave Tops, a Belgian barman, who created it at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels in honor of Perle Mesta, then U.S. ambassador to Luxembourg. The cocktail owes its name to the use of vodka, a typical Russian spirit, and the blackness of the coffee liqueur.

2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Kahlua

#38 Cocktail: B-52

The name refers to the band The B-52's, whose name comes from the US B-52 Stratofortress long-range bomber. This bomber was used in the Vietnam War for the release of incendiary bombs, which likely inspired today's flaming variant of the cocktail; another hypothesis centers on B-52 combat losses ("Burns like a B-52 overHanoi").
One story behind the B-52 is that it was invented by Peter Fich, a head bartender at the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. He named all of his new drinks after favourite bands, albums and songs. This drink was, of course, named after the band of the same name. One of his first customers for a B-52 owned restaurants in various cities in Alberta and liked the drink so much that he put it on the menu. This is why this, the first shooter, is commonly believed to originate at the Keg Steakhouse in Calgary, Alberta in 1977.[1] The B-52 is also rumoured to have been created by Adam Honigman, a bartender at New York City's Maxwell's Plum.
The B-52's widespread popularity has resulted in many variations, each earning a slightly different designation (see variations below for a small sampling). Altogether, the drinks are referred to as the B-50 series of layered cocktails.
The drink became a North London favourite in late 2009 when Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner changed his shirt number from 26 to 52, earning himself the nickname "B52" in the process

#34 Cocktail: Bahama Mama

The Bahama Mama is another of those enigmatic drinks with widely varying recipes, of which none seem to be "official" or "original". The common elements are rum, pineapple juice, and citrus. It says that this is a favorite drink in the Bahamas. From what I read, the Bahama Mama is also a woman from the Bahamas normally with a big "behind". So probably the name of the drink was inspired by this. Well, will never know
Anyway, the Bahama Mama is a delicious drink in the true tiki style

1/4 ounce Kahlua
1/2 ounce dark rum
1/2 ounce coconut liqueur
1/2 ounce 151-proof rum
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
4 pineapple juice
